From above-ground aerial installations to underground fibre and legacy site decommissioning, we meet NBN Co's technical standards and deliver consistent quality across large-scale, time-sensitive programs.

Infrastructure Installation

Our NBN Services

Our NBN project work spans the full range of connection types in the NBN rollout program. Whether connecting a home via an above-ground aerial drop or installing a direct fibre connection to the premises, our crews are trained and accredited to deliver quality outcomes to NBN Co's specification.

Aerial Node-to-Premises (N2P)

Braetex crews install Aerial N2P connections as part of NBN Co's fixed line and HFC programs, managing the full above-ground scope — aerial drop cables, pole hardware, network termination device installation, cable management, and completion documentation.

FTTN Installs

For Fibre to the Node connections, our teams carry out copper pair identification, in-home wiring assessments and remediation, network termination equipment installation, and coordination with NBN Co for node activation and testing across residential and commercial sites.

FTTB Installs

Our FTTB installation teams work in apartment buildings and multi-dwelling units, running fibre to the building's central equipment room and connecting individual premises via internal copper. We manage building access, strata and body corporate coordination, and all equipment room fit-out and unit-level NTD installation.

FTTP Installs

Fibre to the Premises is the highest-quality NBN connection, delivering a dedicated fibre cable direct to each property. Braetex manages the full FTTP scope — lead-in conduit and cable installation, external termination, internal fibre routing and termination, ONT installation and commissioning, and end-to-end service testing and handback documentation.

LPS Decommissioned Sites

As the NBN rollout matures, Lead-in Protection Systems on legacy sites require safe removal. Braetex carries out LPS decommissioned site works to NBN Co's specification — site assessment, LPS hardware removal, make-safe of cable entry points, and full post-works documentation and photography.
